Sydney Trip 2014, hanging out in Sydney Town

Well here we are in Sydney, and we are only halfway through a top trip.
The main reason of the trip was to be in Sydney for the christening of Leonardo Wooler. The best dressed 3 year old in the house. Sadly he has a tragic haircut that only looks good when gelled up for a photo, luckily he doesn't realise what his dad inflicted on him.

Leo's Christening, he's the one in the swanky bow tie.
Bridge across the Parramatta River.

Leo's dad Matthew. Hanging out on the Sydney Buses looking highly suss.

Someone had the idea to go for dinner at the Bavarian Beer Cafe out in Parramatta, I think it was me so it was an awesome idea.
The tribe with beers in hand. Had a top night.

The Bar at the Bavarian Beer Cafe
I think we can all agree that beer is best served in massive litre glass tankards by bar wenches

The Roasted Pork Knuckle.
This is the big boy, for the ladies and girlie men
there is a half size available.
Take note of the salad, there is basically none of it to confuse the taste buds. I highly recommend having a run at this one.

No visit to Sydney is complete without a ferry ride. Its seriously its the best ride in town. Ordinarily we would take a ride out to Manely and back but time was against us on this day so we only went from Parramatta to Darling Harbour, and then into the Sydney Aquarium where it is impossible to take a decent photo. They must have laser beams to disrupt the lens (just jokes).

Captain Jack on the ferry into Darling Harbour
Wasn't this an Oils album cover?

I know, I know but if you don't take a pic of the bridge you weren't really there.

Shaun teaching the cousins on proper tag and release methods on Great Whites
Total cheese from Kirsty and Maggie Moo

We took a swing out to Bondi Beach, for no other reason other then to have an icecream and a walk along the esplanade.

Bondi Beach, taking it all in

Well, that's it for Sydney, time to make tracks and head out on the highway and point the car north.
Next stop, South West Rocks.
